Motus Truck & Van have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join their fabulous team in Witham.

What will you be doing?

  • Greet customers and provide them with a warm welcome to our service department
  • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document their vehicle's issues
  • Utilize your mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle problems and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
  • Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timeframes
  • Upsell additional services or products that may benefit the customer's vehicle
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicle throughout the repair process
  • Handle cash/card transactions and maintain accurate records of payments


Hours & Salary:

Monday to Friday

  • Week 1: 7.00am – 16:30pm
  • Week 2: 9:00am - 18:30pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays (time back in lieu)

Salary from £26,000 - £30,000 per annum plus company bonus

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will have:

  • A positive can-do attitude
  • The ability to produce work to a very high standard
  • A team player mentality
  • An awareness of Health and Safety procedures/policies
  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an automotive setting
  • Strong upselling skills and the ability to effectively communicate the value of additional services or products
  • Solid mechanical knowledge to accurately assess vehicle issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Experience handling cash transactions and maintaining financial records
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
